From two people finding each other — to building something that matters.
It all started in 2017, when two people navigating their own seasons of change found each other. We fell in love, built a life together, and got married in March 2022. Not long after, we channeled that same energy into something bigger — a business that could make a real difference for dogs and the families who love them.
Our journey actually began with Groovy Ninja LLC, originally founded to provide a free online resource helping pet parents find veterinary financial assistance. But we knew we wanted to do more. In November 2023, we expanded that vision and created Run-N-Paw — Volusia County’s first mobile canine fitness service.
We launched in March 2024 with one simple idea: bring the gym to the dog. Our climate-controlled vans are equipped with professional non-motorized slatmills, letting dogs get a real workout in a safe, clean, controlled environment — no parking lots, no dog fights, no infectious disease worries, and no escaping into traffic. Just happy, healthy pups doing what they love most.

Austin Groover
Co-Owner, COO, & Canine Coach
Austin brings the business backbone to Run-N-Paw. With a background in business management and a lifelong love of high-energy dogs, he handles day-to-day operations, client experience, community partnerships, and the big-picture growth of the brand. He’s the one making sure the vans roll, the schedules are tight, and Run-N-Paw keeps growing across Volusia and surrounding counties. When he’s not running the business, you’ll find him on the water or the golf course.
Danielle Groover
Co-Owner, CEO, & Canine Coach
Danielle is the heart and the expertise behind Run-N-Paw’s animal care standards. An experienced veterinary technician with over 10+ years of experience — specializing in critical care, emergency medicine, and exotic animal medicine — she’s the reason you can trust that your dog is in safe, knowledgeable hands every single session. Danielle leads our canine coaching practices, sets our safety protocols, and makes sure every dog that steps on a slatmill is evaluated, comfortable, and having a great time. She’s not just a business owner — she genuinely loves every dog she meets.
